This Privacy Policy explains how Nova Engine ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your information across the Nova ecosystem, including the Nova Presenter Pro desktop application, the Nova Remote Controller mobile app, and the novapresenterpro.com web dashboard. Our users are primarily churches and ministry organizations. Nova is built on an offline-first, local-first architecture: your media and presentation content remain on your own hardware.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services, including:

• Account details: name, email, organization & phone
• License keys & subscription / payment records
• Pairing & connection data for the remote controller
• Local network & device info used to pair devices
• Device identifiers & hardware configuration metadata
• Service logs, diagnostics & performance metrics

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to create and manage your account and license, to pair the Nova Remote Controller with your desktop over your local network, to facilitate event orchestration and remote control of your presentations, to process subscription payments, to troubleshoot integration issues, and to improve the performance of your production environment. Pairing and connection data is used solely to establish and secure the link between your own devices—it is not used for tracking or advertising.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers. We share limited data only with the service providers required to operate Nova:

• Google Firebase — Account authentication and identity management.
• Paystack — Secure processing of subscription and license payments.

We may also disclose data where required by law. Because Nova is local-first, your presentation media and content are never uploaded to us or shared with any third party.

5. Account Deletion & Retention

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Account section of your dashboard at novapresenterpro.com/dashboard. Deleting your account immediately removes your live profile, paired devices, license keys, and active sessions. A limited archived copy of your account and transaction records is retained where necessary to meet legal, tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations, and is deleted once those obligations are satisfied. 6. Security Standards

We implement enterprise-grade encryption for all data synced between the Nova Desktop Engine and your mobile command consoles. Access is restricted via secure local network authentication tokens, and account access is protected by authenticated sessions.
